Surrender happens in the complete nakedness of your own being, in being touched, in vulnerability, in being radically honest with yourself and others.
The path of devotion leads you into compassion, because you realize that every person, including you, gives exactly what they can in every moment. This compassion opens you up more and more to a non-judgmental and soft perspective on every event as well as an emotional stability that enables you to forgive wholeheartedly.
